In our maths sessions this week, Class 1 have been complete stars and started to explore addition and subtraction. We have spoken about the differences between addition and subtraction and all the children have worked brilliantly using their number knowledge and different resources to find the answers to different addition and subtraction number sentences. We have even really challenged the children by asking them to find out the missing value in some addition and subtraction number sentences.
