Sorting Artefacts
We looked at photographs of artefacts from the Bronze Age today and found different ways to group them, such as by material, use or shape. We were able to figure out what each object was used for, who knew they used tweezers!
Carp kites!
In D&T this afternoon we did some more work on our carp kites. We talked about the Japanese meaning behind the carp, that of courage and strength and how in Japan the children make them for Children’s Day and hang them outside their houses.
English-story sequencing
Today we had a practical lesson after re reading our story. The children then worked in groups to order the sequence of events from our class read ‘Stuck’.
Art and Crafts club - batik
