Easter Play 2026
A huge well done to every member of Class 3 who put on a spectacular performance of their play on Monday and again twice on Tuesday! You sang beautifully and made everyone so proud, great acting Class 3!
Bionic Hands
In Science, we have been learning about the parts of the hand. We used this knowledge to create our own bionic hands which we created from cardboard, string, elastic bands and straws.
Some of our hands worked well to pick up objects. We had lots of fun creating them.
Greenpower Session 2 2026
We have continued to disassemble our Greenpower cars. We have completely removed the seat, parts of the chassis and the roll bar. Now they are ready to be built back together again.
Our year 5 pupils have made cardboard prototypes of the vehicle.
Class 4 Lemon Power 2026
Today, we learnt how and why a battery works. We then had a go at making our own cells and batteries using lemons. We managed to power small LED lights.
Building our models of playground equipment
The children worked extremely hard this afternoon making their models. They designed, selected appropriate materials and built them with little intervention. From seesaws to swings, slides, tunnels and monkey bars, their creations were fantastic!
Girls football session
Today a specialist football coach came in to work with just the Class 3 girls. They played lots of different games whilst developing their passing and dribbling skills.
