Our Big Birdwatch
Today in class 1 we took part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch.
Before we went outside we shared the story ‘Lucky Duck’. We thought about how we are all good at different things.
We had so much fun outside spotting all the different birds.
Investigating Electricity
We have been learning about electricity. We created our own circuits and understand that in order for electricity to flow, there can't be a break in the circuit. We explored this by creating a human circuit which lit up our energy stick. We were very impressed.

Class 4 knitting 2026 - Week 1
We have continued our knitting as we missed out due to illness before Christmas. We have made some great progress with our designs. Thank you to our volunteers - Sally and Janet - who helped us this week.
Science-How do seeds change over time?
We enjoyed a wonderful Science lesson this afternoon, learning all about how seeds change over time. We did an ordering activity, pretended to be seeds and grew as Mrs Cooper watered us and finally planted seeds of our own so that we can watch them grow!
Gymnastics
Class 3 have loved starting their gymnastics lessons today. Lots of floor work was covered. They will transfer their skills to apparatus soon.
