Image of What a brilliant trip we’ve had to see Father Christmas

Wow, what an amazing and happy time Class 1 have had today to visit Father Christmas at Amerton Farm!

All the children were amazing and had such fun exploring Amerton Farm. We had such a lovely time in Santa’s grotto with the helpful elves and his reindeer and loved being shown how to say hello and goodbye in elf language and sit in his big red sleigh. I think the highlight was taking our letters to Father Christmas and hand delivering them and having a lovely chat with Santa.

After our visit to see Father Christmas and his helpers, the children enjoyed exploring the indoor play area and having their picnic lunch. We were incredibly lucky with the weather after lunch and went on a fabulous (rain free) and animal filled walk around the farm and all enjoyed a little bit of splashing in the puddles!

Thank you to our amazing PTFA for their incredibly generous contribution to our trip and to Mrs Bater, Mrs Elwell, Mrs Grant, Mrs Vines and Mrs Rock who kindly joined us on our trip today. It was lovely to share this trip with our friends in Class 2 and Mrs Cooper as well.
