Class 1 explored minibeast habitats in Science today and why minibeasts like small, sheltered places. We went outside to collect natural materials, sticks, leaves, pine cones and bark to create a bug hotel out of a tyre.

Science - Caterpillar Life Cycles
Class 1 have found out all about life cycles this week and have watched some fascinating videos showing the life cycle of a caterpillar. We watched a time lapse of a caterpillar making a cocoon and then the children made their own life cycles.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
