We had lots of fun finding out about Chinese New Year and writing in Chinese.

 This afternoon Class 4 heard The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant taken from the book of Matthew. The message in this story is if you have been forgiven then you should forgive others. 

We had fun re-enacting this story in a short drama.

In our Geography topic - Natural Resources - we have been researching various renewable energy sources and how they work. We have looked at their impact on our environments and discovered which countries use the most renewable energy sources.

Today we spent some time in our lovely school grounds spotting birds and recording our findings. We also spotted a lovely sign of Spring - snowdrops! 

We had a great morning at Stafford Fire Station learning how to stay safe.

We have had lots of fun using the gymnastics equipment in the hall. 

This week, year 6 pupils have been fitting the seat to the rest of the car whilst their teammates build the front steering system. Year 5 pupils have been making prototypes of the car.

Today in RE we rewrote the Lord’s Prayer in language that our Prayer Partners would understand.

We created a book for them to read and enjoy.

In music we have been listening to the Dr Who soundtrack and making our own scores.

We have had our first Greenpower session with Dr Allen this week. We have discussed what will be involved during this project and we have completed a risk assessment to try and avoid risks. Year 6 pupils have been building the cars chassis and seats. Year 5s have been creating their initial…
