Class 4

Class 4 have been practising different skills used for cricket during our PE lessons. 

Our school councils have been helping in the gardens of St Steven’s church to plant flowers and make the gardens look lovely. They did a great job.

Class 4 had a wonderful time tidying up the outdoor area and garden ready for Summer. 

Our year 6 children had a wonderful time walking around Shugborough with our school friend and chaplain - Kevin.

We have continued to disassemble our Greenpower cars. We have completely removed the seat, parts of the chassis and the roll bar. Now they are ready to be built back together again.

Our year 5 pupils have made cardboard prototypes of the vehicle.

Today, we learnt how and why a battery works. We then had a go at making our own cells and batteries using lemons. We managed to power small LED lights.

Today, our year 5 and 6 girls took part in another football session with Mrs Dean. 

Here are some of our information writing texts about a habitat of our choice. We based these on a book we have been reading - Animalium

We had our local PSCO in again this week working with our year 5 pupils. We looked at forensics and how this is used by police to solve crimes. 

We have been practising our new weekly spellings using scrabble tiles this week.

In science we have been testing the brightness of bulbs in in differing circuits.
