Charcoal light and shade

In Art, we have been investigating light and shade. We set up some torches on our table plants and observed which parts were darker than others. We then used our charcoals to sketch our plants. Finally we added some lights and shade by using our learnt techniques of smudging as well as varying the pressure of our charcoal on the paper. Beautiful artwork Class 3!
