Wow - we are so proud of the performance by Class 3, in our Easter play of The Tale of Three Trees. 

Your singing and acting was incredible. Each and every one of you shone on the stage. A very well done! We hope you all loved it! 

Izzy has shown true kindness by making lemonade and selling it to raise funds for the school. She proudly donated £6. Thank you for being a courageous advocate Izzy. 

We have explored British Science Week in Class 3. This year the theme is Change and Adapt which we thought carefully about. We created posters to enter into a competition.  

In May we will be celebrating VE Day. In preparation, the village will be decorated with hundreds of poppies painted by local school children. Today we used watercolours to paint our poppies ready to display. See if you can recognise yours when walking through the village! 
 

Today we enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters. We took part in a ‘What book is it from?’ quiz and a game of ‘Book bingo’. The children looked amazing! 
 

Today we tested out our baking skills. We are getting very good at measuring and mixing. We were pleased with how our cupcakes worked out - yummy! 

Lots of fun was had at the PTFA disco, thank you to all of the adults that helped to organise it! 
 

We have started rehearsals for our Easter Performance. During Music lessons we are focusing on our singing skills, which fits perfectly with learning the song words for our play!

We have loved starting our new English text, ‘A Roman soldiers handbook’. It is jam packed with new facts. We have so far learnt the requirements to meet in order to become a soldier, the punishments for disobedience and how the army was organised. As well as adding to our Historical knowledge,…
