Year 3 braved the frosty weather for Maths today! They were recognising multiples of 2, completing a series of counting tasks and missing number activities outside. 
 

We enjoyed a great maths lesson today. The children independently explored their number bonds to ten and wrote some matching addition sentences!
 

In our RE session today, we have been finding out why and how Christians celebrate Christmas. We have talked about how Christians go to church, sing lovely Christmas songs called carols and perform nativity plays to celebrate Christmas.

It was a bumper week for reading, with 12 children entered into the raffle! Well done to this weeks winner. 

We had a lovely festive time at Arts and Crafts club today.  The children made ‘Christmas Wishes’ jars, complete with real conifer and snow!
 

The children all chose something new at the Jumble sale today. Thank you parents for the many donations and to the Eco and School council members who helped to organise it all. All funds raised will go towards resources for our outdoor classroom. 
 

Class 1 enjoyed going on a Autumn Walk hunt yesterday. Before we went, we read The Little Acorn book. The children really enjoyed it. We then talked about all the different seasons and the signs to look out for. 

We had a fantastic time looking around the National Memorial Arboretum though it was a bit chilly.

Year 1 have been busy making repeating patterns in maths today!

Class 2 have loved designing their own microbes this afternoon. We’ve had a whole host of bacteria, viruses and fungi!
