A new Year at Nursery

This half term our theme is animals and this week, We have been exploring polar animals, through sensory play and games. The children enjoyed making animal prints in shaving foam, they have done some observational paintings of penguins, and I think you’ll agree they did a super job.

We have also welcomed some new children to nursery and they have settled in very well.

Outdoor classroom; We played the animal movement game, the children had to pick a card and copy the movements of the animal, they really enjoyed this , moving like slithering snakes, waddling like penguins and  jumping like frogs.
