In nursery this week we have been celebrating Chinese new Year, the children have enjoyed making and cooking their own vegetable stir fry, which they enjoyed eating during snack time. They have been making and painting a dragon head ready for our dragon dance on Friday and exploring calligraphy mark making with magic paper, water and calligraphy brushes. We have played in our Chinese restaurant role play area and used chopsticks to pick up pom poms and small beads, working on our fine manipulative skills.
