Clay Creations

Class 2 have been manipulating clay into different shapes today. We did this outside as It was a lovely sunny day (and Mrs Hayward wanted to make the tidying up easier!). We used tools to explore which shapes and textures we could make. We slowly added water to make the clay easier to roll. We used the ‘pinching pot’ method to create something special we will decorate for a gift later on in March, more photos will follow when they are decorated and taken home so as not to ruin the surprise!
