Active Maths - Movement

We started our maths today with a new trick - by holding both hands in front of our face we can easily tell which side is left/right. We then danced to the ‘cha cha slide’ song, following instructions such as ‘slide to the left,’ and ‘right foot 2 stomps’. We used a grid outside to guide our friends from the start to the finish avoiding the red crosses, using our new directional language. Next week we will be using turns as well to make our directions even more specific.
