Our focus text this week has been ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ and Class 1 have had such a fabulous time this week exploring the story through various activities.
The children have worked together to retell the story in our small world, made story maps, created pictures to retell the story using different creative materials and used our natural resources to create the story. During our time outside, the children have worked together to retell the story and found some really squishy squashy mud and a deep cold river. It’s been so lovely to hear and see them getting so much enjoyment from retelling the story with the friends.
Fantastic work Class 1! I wonder what animal adventures we will go on next week …..
