During our lunch time play today, we had great fun outside after the really heavy rain fell while we ate our lunch.
Our outside area had some quite big puddles that were joined together and made a little stream. The children had a great time watching little leaves and sticks travel down from one puddle to the other. We then decided to work together to build a bridge over the puddles so we could cross without getting wet feet. The children and some Yr 6 helpers had such fun and some children even built an obstacle course that we had to travel across too!
Some children were really excited as they found a black and red ladybird on our wooden car. It then went on Harriet’s coat and we carefully held it on our hands before it flew off to find some yummy leaves.
