Today we have been writing War time  poetry which will be read at our Remembrance service on Monday .

Today in Art we created some beautiful poppy pictures for display at our Remembrance assembly next week. 

We will remember them.

Class 2 had a wonderful time clearing up our outdoor area this morning after a week away.

There were lots of leaves to tidy away and pop into our compost bin. The children even found some fabulous creepy crawlies!

Class 3 have used different materials to create a display of poppies on a cross, to remember the soldiers who have lost their lives during times of war. You are welcome to join us in church on Monday 11th November for our whole school remembrance service. 
 

Class 3 have started their new Geography topic, leaning about continents, oceans and countries all over the world. They have also started their new English text linked to this, ‘Around the world in 80 days.’ So far, it’s 1872 and Mr Phileas Fogg has decided to take on the challenge of travelling…

We have been learning all about Diwali this week.

We watched a video of a family preparing and celebrating Diwali and watched the story of Rama and Sita. We made our own Festival of Light lanterns and explored textures creating some Rangoli patterns. The children enjoyed building temples and…
