Year 3 children dug some HUGE weeds from the beds today! There’s now much more room for the plants we want to spread and grow.
Sports Day 2025
An excellent morning was had by all today! Yellow were the victors but the team work, encouragement and resilience shown by all children was what made us the most proud today.
What’s the time?
Year 3 used the teaching clocks to practise telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes during Maths. It was quite tricky at first so great perseverance Year 3!

River homework
Well done to everyone who completed the half term homework activity, creating a model of a river. They look fantastic and it’s lovely to see the children be so creative with their design and materials, great effort Class 3!
Ice cream treat!
Today was Mrs Chell’s last day, she is retiring after 43 years working in education! To celebrate, she treated every child in the school to an ice cream, thank you Mrs Chell and we look forward to seeing you popping in to visit us in the future!
Geography - card games.
This afternoon we wrote cards with the definition for different river features eg meander or estuary. We then played a memory game to match the definitions up, in small groups.
